Oh it's no problem really.
Well, i think it depends on how you want your drawing to look. Do you want to
digitally ink it in photoshop or would you like to keep the sketchy quality of
your drawing? If you want to leave your drawing the way it is and just have it
adjusted to look digitally inked and be able to color it then that's pretty
easy.
If you'd like to digitally ink in photoshop and want it to have that vector
quality then that's a completly different technique all together. Let me know
which one you'd like to persue.
It's kinda funny cause I've been thinking about creating tutorials about these
topics for a while but i've just been...well, lazy.

Well, in art, anything "mechanical" is a perfecty straight line,
perfect corners, basically it is anything created that looks a little too
perfect for the normal human to create. When using brushes and just going with
your feelings and being expressive...that's more organic.
Vector art, no matter what you draw, always looks a little too perfect so
therefore it has a mechanical feel. That in combination with that texture you
have (organic) that looks random and that may be found somewhere in nature,
creates a nice contrast in artistic styles. If you wanna read more about this
kinda stuff i can give you a link to read.
Anyway, it was totally awsome. Can't wait for the next wallie! ^_^

What new DC? I've been drawing some thumbs as to how our groups
"information hub" website thingy is gonna look. I've also got some
ideas for you on how to ink stuff but i'll get back to you on that. I have some
ideas on the next competition for NWP. Close to the close of the Battle Royale,
i'm gonna update the tabs on our group page. Then i was thinking about having
people design our groups banner that would be at the top. Either that or have
people design the splash page to the site i'm going to be creating. If we end up
having many great submissions, then we can rotate their submissions over time so
that everyone gets to see their work up. I think i had a few other ideas but i
forgot where that paper i wrote it down on is. I'm telling you this in your GB
cause I want to keep it below the radar from others...for now. Let me know what
you think.
What's up Jormungand? I started working on your drawing. I tested some markers
on a printout but my epson is currently having problems. I test printed it out
on my laser but it's pretty old so the resolution isn't that great. What I ended
up doing was inking over your drawing. It looks slightly different in certain
places. Like in the eyes, i left most of the detail out since I can add them
with the markers to look better. I was just wondering, is there any particular
color scheme or colors you'd like to see for the hair, eyes and sweater? If I
have the colors i'll use them. If i can afford them i'll buy them. I think your
drawings are an excellent chance for me to practice my coloring since they are
so good. I'm gonna try and create a tutorial about how to color drawings using
copic markers (if it turns out decent :P )

it to the semi-finals in the competition. I always had faith in your skill but
that last match had be slightly doubting. I see tons of your stuff up lately.
What made you decide to get a tablet? How come you chose the one you did?? I
have a wacom graphire II. It was the cheapest alternative I could afford at the
time. It's pretty small. The drawing area is only about 5x5. My friend just
bought the $300 one and let me tell you that thing rocks. It has short cut
buttons on the tablet and the rubber grip on the pen feels so comfortable. The
boosted up pressure points really helps in shading and coloring which is what I
mostly use it for. Can't wait to see how much you'll improve once you actually
get used to it. Till later man!

ok, on to business. Well, i know it sounded a little vague. Basically you can do
anything as long as a vector is used in
your wall. You can make a vector that hasn't been done (originality and
creativity are pluses), you can use
vectored art from others as long as you do other stuff to it. You can even
combine styles, like grunge or anything with the vector. That actually sounds
pretty interesting. Hmmmmm.....but yeah. Go nuts! As long as when people look at
it and know that there is a vectored image in there, then your cool. The whole
thing doesn't have to be vectored. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have more
questions.
